06 Feb Philadelphia Travel: Eagles Championship Parade Update
The city of Philadelphia is throwing a well-deserved victory parade and party to welcome back and honor the Superbowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles! The party will begin around 10:30 am on Thursday, February 8th!
While we are excited to celebrate with the team and all of you, there are some things we want you to consider when planning your day. Traffic will be delayed, diverted and all around messy. Stretching from Lincoln Financial Field all the way to the Philadelphia Art Museum, the parade and party will continue all day and into the evening. If you are not attending the celebration, it is probably best to avoid downtown and the city altogether.
Traffic and Road Closure Updates
Of course with a city-wide celebration such as this, there will be many road closures, many of which are already in effect. Streets will be closed completely or allow local access only. In addition, on-street parking options will be affected throughout most of the parade route.
